Today we did pretty much the same as yesterday except for one less favorable job. Raking. We had to clean up the excess straw on the fields. I didn’t think it was very helpful because the second you get one or three pieces of straw in your bag, new ones have blown over to take up their place. I wasn’t going to complain to them because I work for them and not the other way around. It’s their farm not mine. But come on! I don’t mind doing the work but how can you feel good doing something that is useless. During tea time Joy, the employee who gave us the tour, offered to take us into the Buxton. Buxton was the closest town, the B&B and the Sanctuary were a bit isolated. We went to the mall, there wasn’t really anything to sightsee. We bought some cute jewelry and snacks at the grocery store but we couldn’t find a souvenir shop. We did however find a tea shop. It had some nice things but unfortunately it was just too expensive. The evening was slightly different than the last one. Instead of buying a meal from the B&B we went to another pub that was at walking distance of the B&B. It was a much chicer settlement than the B&B and had great food. Me and Fabienne had a great time there. On our way out we saw a typical English telephone box. I was surprised because I wasn’t expecting one in such an isolated place. Of course me and Fabienne took some pictures.
