We had to get up early today, we ate breakfast that the host, Jane, left for us. We had to disarm the alarm, Jane taught us how, to get out. We failed and the alarm went off. Thankfully nobody woke up and we managed to disarm it. Today at the Sanctuary we were taught how to muck out stables. Our day consisted of that, helping to distribute the feeds and filling up bags with straw and hay. Not everybody got the same feeds, some even didn’t get anything because they were overweight.. There were also some abused donkeys. The Donkey Sanctuary has different settlements over the world that try to rescue as many donkeys as they can. It started with one woman who wanted to rescue some abused donkeys, and it grew from there. That evening we did the same as the last one, eat dinner, watch a film and go to bed.
